Education & Simulation at Fiona Stanley Hospital

The Simulation Fellowship at FSFHG takes a practical and hands-on approach to simulation-based education with 2 full days a week dedicated to running sessions across the Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hopsitals sites.

We specialise in running in-situ simulations using high fidelity manikins in real clinical environments in theatres and throughout the hospitals. Fellows will have the opportunity to coordinate with the emergency department and other departments to run large multi-disciplinary process-testing scenarios, as well as becoming involved in ongoing and new educational research. Our experienced simulation faculty provide ongoing training in scenario planning, manikin operation and debriefing.

We offer 2 positions every 6 months and welcome expressions of interest from candidates with a passion for education.

Fellowship supervisor: Dr Andy Lamb
