Remote and Rural fellowship

12 months duration to be taken within final 18 months of training in the UK

Fellowship includes Neonatal Resuscitation, Chronic pain and Palliative Care, Stabilization and Transfer / Aero medical evacuation and experience in one or more mainland or island settings.

It is anticipated that the neonatal and pain elements will be undertaken in the applicants parent Deanery with the Stabilization and Transfer / Aero evacuation modules being undertaken with the Shock Team and the HERMS units based at the Western Infirmary Glasgow and in Paisley respectively.

The Remote and Rural element will be undertaken in Shetland with the possibility of additional attachments to either Wick or Orkney.
