6 - 12 month post

Regional cancer centre, including head and neck. Emphasis is placed on gaining maximum exposure to airway management in difficult cases.
Fellow will gain experience of the full range of airway techniques - fibreoptic skills, THRIVE and apnoeic oxygenation, supraglottic jetting, trans-tracheal ventilation.
On call shifts are either in emergency theatres or obstetrics.
Research days are allocated and there is support among consultants to develop research projects.
