Anaesthesia:
The day time commitment is for 4½ days per week with 7 sessions for principally relate to Adult Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia including CABG, thoracics, EP studies, pre-op clinics and TOE. The remaining sessions are for continuing medical education, flexibe allocation to clinical duties or teaching/research.
The on call is on a weekly basis.
Intensive Care:
The Fellow will share the responsibilities for resident cover of the unit with another Fellow and 3 RMOs, on a rotating roster system.
It is expected that each fellow will complete one audit or research project during the fellowship, or take significant part in an ongoing project. Weekly TOE review sessions are done on a rotational basis by the fellows
