Fellowship will include management of anaesthesia for CABG, Valves, arch repairs, TAVI,
(No transplant)
Minimum 2 days per week in the subspecialty.
43 hours a week.
Some nights at the start of the year but the remainder of the year we try to limit out of hours work to evenings and weekends (weekends approx. 1 in 6).
Option to participate in consultant first Oncall roster.
Many opportunities for teaching; can be involved in nurse education, medical students, residents and registrars, in addition we are linked to Deakin University Sim Centre.
