Two sessions per week allocated to education. Fellows will be involved in small group teaching, lectures, high fidelity simulation, practical skills teaching and mock examinations. Learners will be anaesthesia trainees, medical students, anaesthetic technicians, nurses and midwives.
Fellow will be expected to gain a formal qualification in education during the fellowship, or if they already have such a qualification, they will be expected to pursue their studies to a higher level. They will also complete a Simulator Instructor's course and the ANZCA Emergency Management of Anaesthetic Crises course.
