Fellows are assigned to two to three days per week in a thoracic surgery operating room. When not in thoracics they may be assigned to a major head and neck list or surgical oncology list. Anesthesia is also actively involved in the lung transplant assessment clinic. On call duties are restricted to home call for lung transplantation. Research is integrated into the fellowship with and average of one academic day per week throughout the year.
