6 month post, extendable to 12 months
Open to all post-fellowship anaesthetic specialist registrars who wish to develop a further interest in management and leadership.

The trainee would be expected to have one day per week dedicated to management and leadership projects, approximately two days per week of clinical commitment in theatres, and an additional on-call commitment based in Sutton, with the possibility of some shifts in Chelsea. This equates to approximately 80% clinical commitment and 20% academic commitment and would add up to an average 48-hour week.

•Opportunity to attend the King's Fund Emerging Clinical Leaders course (partially funded) + the London Deanery coaching and mentoring courses (partially funded)
•Opportunity to be involved in, facilitate, and teach on weekly registrar teaching
•Opportunity to organise The Royal Marsden Management course
Research and Audit
•To complete a research project during the post, including data collection, abstract writing, presentation, publication
