Post combines reasearch and teaching with clinical work. Fellow will become involved in ongoing trials as well as initiating a personal research project. Opportunity to make presentations at state and national congress. Teaching responsibilities include supervision and assessment of 5th and 6th year undergraduate students and junior ANZCA trainees, as well as teaching at midwifery education classes and multidisciplinary simulation courses.
40 hour working week. 50% clinical, 50% research
1 in 4 weekends. Rarely need to cover night shifts.
6000 deliveries per year. Tertiary referral centre for high risk obstetrics and complex gynaecology for Western Australia.
