Offers advanced clinical training in obstetric anaesthesia alongside research and teaching opportunities.
Programme objectives can be tailored to suit the career plans of the individual.
50% of time will be clinical, mostly in obstetrics, gynaecology, urology and oncology but one day a week will also be in general theatres.
Fellows will participate in mortality & morbidity meeting and weekly journal club, teaching on the labour ward and in resident and student discussion sessions.
Active participation in ongoing research projects is expected as well as development of personal projects. Encouraged to attend and present at local and international conferences
