Daytime work will be spent on the labour ward and once a week in the consultant-led anaesthetic antenatal clinic (Monday).
The fellow will also have the opportuity to shadow the obstetric and the neonatal consultants.
On call commitments will be on the SpR rota.
Other duties include teaching anaesthesia trainees on wednesday and friday, teaching midwives, running journal club and simulator sessions.
Fellow will be expected to become involved in research and audit and present at local meetings as well as the OAA and write up 4 interesting case studies.
