Tertiary referral centre with 3800 deliveries per year.
Fellow will receive thorough clinical training in the care of healthy and high risk parturients.
They also participate in the fetal care centre and in the intraoperative management of fetal surgery patients.
Working week will involve 4 days on the delivery suite, one day non-clinical. On-call for obstetrics twice per month.
2 four-week electives may be taken per year in neonatal ICU, maternal-fetal medicine, obstetric ultrasound, echocardiography or cardiothroacic or sugical ICU.
Fellows will participate in multi-disciplinary simulation sessions as well as becoming involved in resident and medical student education sessions and journal clubs.
