Clinical exposure to nerve blocks, facet blocks, neurolytic techniques, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, implantable intrathecal pumps, and percutaneous decompression.
Based in both inpatients and outpatient clinics, treating patients with chronic pain, cancer pain, paediatric patients and patients with acute post operative pain. Fellows will also spend a small amount of time in anaesthesiology, neurology & neurosurgery, palliative care, rehabilitation and psychiatry.
Weekly education through lecture series, journal club, grand round and multidisciplinary conferences.
Fellows will feel comfortable leading a pain care team and collaborating with other specialists on the service.
Involvement in research is encouraged.
