Fellow will be exposed to a wide range of sub-specialties, gaining experience of high risk patients undergoing major surgery.
Fellow will have regular sessions in the pre-admission clinic and will partake in the post op ward round of high risk patients.
Encouragement to complete a research project and audit and present at departmental meetings.
Will have involvement in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as supervising junior trainees in theatre.
Hours average 45 per week, including one night per week (with the following day off).
Work one weekend in four.
