Post consists of: 40% ED, 40% ICM, and 20% Prehospital including rotary aviation shifts with EMRTS Cymru.
No experience in PHEM is needed. Prehospital PPE including flight suit will be provided.
The posts are based at Glan Clwyd Hospital, part of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. We offer a full range of DGH services, as well as some regional tertiary services for North Wales. We are a Major Trauma Unit. North Wales is a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts, with excellent transport links to nearby Liverpool and Manchester, and a direct rail link to London.
An EPIC post is also available at Bangor Hospital, which offers 80% ICM/Anaesthetics, and 20% PHEM. Applicants may apply for one or both posts: interviews are combined, and successful applicants who apply for both posts will be offered their first choice where possible.
