Over 3000 regional anaesthesia procedures per year.
2 days per week under supervision of Regional Anaesthesia consultant. Gain experience of a range of regional anaesthesia techniques including continuous catheter techniques and central neuroaxial techniques.
Remainder of time will be on general theatre lists.
Fellow will also participate in acute pain service managing challenging chronic and cancer pain.
20% of time will be in research and educational activities. Expected to initiate at least one research project during the training year and to participate in teaching sessions.
Applications should be made at least 18 months in advance.
