50% clinical, 50% educational.
Clinical time spent delivering anaesthetic services or working on the perioperative pain service. Will gain experience in ultrasound guided plexus and extremity blockade.
Education time is spent teaching residents, and completing research. Fellows are expected to initiate and complete at least one project.
International Medical Graduates must complete the Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination in order to obtain an independent practice license in anesthesia.
