Fellow will be trained in ultrasound, nerve stimulation and landmark guided peripheral nerve blocks using single injection and continuous catheter techniques. In addition to work in the OR, fellow will gain experience in pain management of trauma patients in the surgical ICUs.
Opportunities for learning experience in ambulatory anaesthesia, analgesic techniques, acute pain management and chronic pain management
Fellow expected to divide time between clinical experience and research.
Expected to attend weekly formal lectures and cadaver dissection workshops.
Work as junior faculty one day per week, supervising residents in the operating room.
No in-house on-calls.
US Anaesthesiology residency training is required.
Conneticut State Medical License required.
