Level 1 trauma centre with 95,000 visits and over 3,000 trauma admissions per year.
Fellow will have 16 clinical shifts per month (12 hour shifts)
7 months in trauma operating rooms, focusing on patient care, supervision of residents and management of the case flow.
The remaing 4 months can be spent in ICU, trauma radiology, Echo for the trauma anaesthetist, advanced regional anaesthesia, transfusion medicine.
Fellow will also participate in departmental grand rounds and trauma service lectures and conferences.
