The vascular service delivers a wide range of surgeries including endovascular and open aneurysm surgery, carotid surgery, peripheral vascular surgery, as well as, vascular access surgery for renal and cystic fibrosis patients. Lists are carried out in the hybrid interventional theatre.
This fellowship provides a unique opportunity to gain considerable experience in vascular anaesthetic techniques and peri-operative care of the
vascular surgical patient.
There is an active research anaesthetic department and the fellow would be supported to carry out research projects / quality improvement projects within vascular.
Out of hours commitment will be between theatres and the intensive care unit depending on service and training needs
